*Obviously only say it if you mean it ;)
We are fallible. We are humans. Mistakes happen. When we are little we say this word so freely. A child takes another child's toy, an adult tells them to say they are sorry, & then children resume playing together like nothing happened.
Why as adults is it such a HARD word for us to utter??? Is it because we would never think that we Could have the capacity to do something wrong? Or maybe it is bc we are so shocked by the idea that we could Ever do Anything wrong?
Isn't that an Ego response...are we holding our grounds of not saying we are sorry when we hurt others bc of an Ego that we created over time? This shield that we have created over years & years to protect us is our Ego. Our Ego will tell us that we aren't fallible that we did the Best we could & are Never Wrong! Where is the hope for a Future in that response??? The Ego is built under the pretense of protection. To protect our innards from the outer world. To not leave it vulnerable. It is with this shield that all healings land. All possibility for mending hurts end. Until we can say we are Sorry & have wronged someone else we are not leaving any possibility for growth.
Without that 5 letter word S-O-R-R-Y there is only E-G-O.

When was the last time you said you were sorry? Are you waiting for someone else to say they are sorry? Isn't today the day to set yourself free & admit fault then everyone can move on & GROW!!!
