I started my Free Flow Writing assignment to pull the mental wedgie out of my ass brain!
Today, is day 4 of F.F.W. at GSTQ. We have 3 more days left. Hopefully we are doing this at the same time :)
I've found it gives CLARITY & besides...is tremendously FREEING :)))))
Here is what's working:
-Use the same journal for the week.
-Write the day & date on the top of the first page. For example: Day 4 August 14th, 2012
-Before beginning, number the pages: 1-10
-Write non-stop for all 10 pages!
-Have a glass of water near by to drink. Finish the glass at the end of writing. This symbolizes Flushing your system as you flush your mental system by writing.
-The last page end off with a blessing: "I am grateful for the ability to write in this journal. I am grateful that I can hold this pen. I am grateful that I can articulate my feelings & write them down onto this page."
