How do you get it???

Where the F is it when you need it Most?!?!

K...


Here it is real simple:

Self Esteem is following through with promises you made to yourself.

When you break promises to yourself you begin not trusting your word & not feeling safe.

You aren't holding yourself in high regard.

Think of it like this:

"My esteemed colleagues"- What does this phrase mean? It means to hold your colleagues in high regard. To think of them fondly. To respect them.

Self Esteem- is to hold yourself in high regard. To think of yourself fondly. To respect yourself.

How do you show yourself that you respect yourself???

Keep the promises you make to yourself!!!

The way to Repair self esteem then is EZ.

Make promises to yourself. And keep them.

"I promise to read my book for 20 minutes every night. Bc I enjoy it & I enjoy reading!"

Make this a priority.

Make YOU a priority.

In this fast paced world with cell phones, emails, Skype...

We are inundated with OTHER'S requests.

We answer THEM back....

Quickly!!!

We are constantly On-Call.

Meanwhile...

Why do our inner promises go unanswered?

Why does our work To do's take preference over our inner To do's???

I would feel horrible if I didn't call a friend back... yet I ignore my inner voice daily...

It doesn't make sense!

You want to feel like a million bucks then respond to Your inner promises like you are V.I.P.

If your child or #1 customer called, you would drop ANYTHING to make it happen for them.

Today, YOU ARE YOUR NUMBER ONE CLIENT. Think fast: If there was One thing you could do, What would it be to make you Happy?!?! Get healthier, go to That class, Finish knitting a beanie bear, make home made beer, walk in the park in the a.m. :))))

NOW DO IT.

Realize that all those half done projects are eating away at the way you FEEL about yourself.

SOOO...

Make it real & obtainable for you!

If you are the kind of person
(like me ;) that makes promises to yourself & for one reason or another doesn't follow through...your job with this assignment is to make it something small that you would LOVE to do!

Try this for ONE week.

See how you feel after you kept your word to yourself.

  1. Love this! You're so spot on with everything that you said. Now, let's do it! I want to jump on the trampoline for at least 10 mins every day... :) Fun & exercise which will help me in my long term goal of losing weight!

  2. Awesome!!!! That sounds like so much FUN!!! Let's Do This!!! I am reading 20 minutes a day bc I never let myself bc I'm always busy taking care of stuff!
