"You all, everybody"

(My mom has these exact flowers I found in the front of a house in Zimbabwe growing in the front of her house in New York Right NOW!) 

Africa is very similar to everywhere else I have been & lived. 

Surprisingly.

I expected my senses to go wild with NEWNESS.

When in fact, it's oddly similar. 

I find myself perplexed. 

Are we all the same?

I mean I KNOW know, we all want Love, need food/shelter/water...

But, it's jarring how similar we ALL are. 

Which is what I think is confusing me the most. 

Ya'd think I'd be pleasantly surprised. 

I'm not. 

I'm baffled with how alike we all are. 

I found myself humming the Lost song: "You all, everybody."

Today, if there was One other place anywhere in the world that you would like to live where would that be?!?! 

Got it. 

Okay...Why does XYZ place excite you? 

What do you expect to be different about it then where you currently live? 

Have you visited?!?

Do you plan to?!

What do you expect to be different about YOU, then who you currently are where you currently live?

Maybe the wild & different or calm & same you are seeking is all in YOUR perspective. 

So maybe, just maybe it's not what you think it will be.
