PUNK ROCK SELF-HELP

Buffalo Selfie

Untouched wildlife is a thing of our past.

At least I believe...

As we were floating alongside Elephants crossing the Chobe River I thought, "Gosh this is unnatural."
The clicking of our cameras were non-stop.

Only 20 years ago, if we non-professional photographers, wanted to take a picture we really had to commit to the image. Bc we only had 36 pictures per camera roll.

Now in this digital age, we can shoot non-stop for as long as we want. And the cost is minimum.

The sounds coming from our cameras & the inundations of the Selfie in front of the once Wild animal has changed the landscape of the once Wild.

Not only have we shifted as humans. But our technological advancements have affected the Wild Life as well.

I remember my first cell phone was the size of a T.V. remote control. And I had to pull the antenna up every time I wanted to make a phone call.

Our handheld phones are our computers, cameras, social network and bloodlines to the outside world.

With this shift in technology we are more able to freely take pictures to share our experiences. Making us more...or Less Social?!?

Today, when you wake up do you find yourself reaching for your celly?!? Before, you go to bed do you safely tuck in your mobile?!
How many times a day do you search for your Beloved?!?!?

Hmm...

The Wild has it right.
Stay in the moment.
Bc as we are setting up that perfect Selfie...it's gone.

Xoxo
Botswana bound.

Ps: Here is a picture of a bitchy Buffalo saying: "Really, really?!?" To me disrupting her resting herd.
