For no reason at ALL?!?
I have heard the Eye Twitch is caused by stress, fatigue, or caffeine...
maybe?!?
I decided to take matters into my own eye balls and began my online research for the causes of the Eye Twitch.
Turns out...
NO ONE KNOWS?!??
Say what?!?!?!
Guess...it's magic ;)
"Eye twitching (blepharospasm) usually affects the eye muscles of both eyes. If you have eye twitching, you may have an involuntary movement that recurs every several seconds for a minute or two."
Then found this article here:
"Called myokymia in doctor lingo. Causes include: Stress
Tiredness, Eye strain, Caffeine, Alcohol, Dry eyes, Nutritional imbalances, Allergies."
Ahhh!!! Which one is it? Myokymia OR
blepharospasm?!? But, good to know some more possible causes!
Then I found this article here:
"Most of the time, myokymia is idiopathic, which is a fancy way of saying we have no idea why it happens," says Dr. Andrea Thau, an associate clinical professor at SUNY Optometry and a spokesperson for the American Optometric Association. "It’s such a benign condition, and tends to resolve on its own, so there's little incentive to research it."
Ahhh! So No one agrees on what it's called And what causes THE Eye Twitch!!!
Today, eyelid on a conga line lately?!?
Does your eye twitch happen at certain times in your life?!
When you are sick?
Stressed?!
At a computer too long?!
Twitching at your Eye witchery?!?
