"True story of the Coolest Dog the White House has ever seen!"

I GOT IT. 

Fala was the coolest dog in DC history. 

Reminds me of the coolest dog I own, Harry. 

That's the thing about Harry though...he owned me. 

I never owned him.

When Harry was a baby I took him to Petco for puppy training and they turned me away. They said the most stubborn untrainable dog was the Scottie male.

They refused to sign him in! 

By then I had already trained him so didn't know what they were talkn about. 
Years to come people would stop us on the street and say how HARD Scotties are. Never understood that. Always told em I was lucky. 

Harry's temperament always surprised the Scottie types. Bc he was chill. He had nothing to prove. 

Ya see...

Harry's Da Man. Period. Always the coolest brother in a room. Period. 

Harry had a fire. 

I never wanted to put it out. 

Bc I have that fire. 

Instead, I let Harry be Harry. 

We respect each other, as equals. 

Harry's my roommate I would tell people when they'd visit. 

That's the truth. My truth. The coolest dog my house has ever seen is Harry Hoffman.  

Today, have you ever loved an animal so much you can't breathe once they don't?

I'm heartbroken.
