Fight Club Version of YOU?!?: Part 1

Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Ya’ll know my favorite movie is Fight Club.

My To do list has had the following on it since May 2017, “What is the Fight Club Version of Me?!?!”

Ya’ll know how in the movie, Fight Club Ed Norton’s character creates an imaginary friend who acts on his behalf while he is sleeping?!!!

Well...

This counterpart was created out of necessity. Ed Norton’s character was exhausted by the state of affairs in his life. He lived to work to buy sh*t he didn’t need. Bored as F*ck. Dull a** existence.

So...

He does what any psychopath does, and creates an alternate personality.

To act out all of his desires. That he just doesn’t have the b*lls to pursue.

Gotcha!

I wanted to ask myself ever so clearly, “What is the Fight Club Version of Me?!?!”

If I could describe my Tyler Durden what would she look like? Her personality be? Her job? Her car? Her POV?

Today, Ask yourself “What is the Fight Club Version of Me?!?!”

This is a powerful as f*ck exercise!

It makes it damn clear who you want to be and who you currently are.

Funny enough, I did it with my friend and she said I was all the things I wanted my Tyler Durden to be.

But...

I just don’t see it!

Interested to hear how far off you are from your Tyler.

Also, while writing down who your Durden is, you are not allowed to judge yourself, limit yourself, use reality at all to state whether what you are saying is possible. Rather, this is the heightened unrealistic version of yourself.

Go big or go home.

It should be and look like a whole other version of you. The same way Ed Norton clearly looks nothing like Brad PITT.

The more descriptive you are the more fun this will be.

enJOY this!!!

Create your alter ego ;)))

May your TD be as bad a** as your imagination!

Ya’ll pretend to be b*lls out psychopaths with me ;)!

Xoxo
