Ya’ll know I LOVE Yoga.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
Took a month off, unintentionally.
Been traveling so much that have not gotten to my yoga studio.
Took a class...
#epic.
Seriously, I was me again. Realized during the class how much I “talk” to my body during the class. I’m telling myself to breathe, to concentrate on a particular muscle, go deeper.
I felt so connected with my body. This is why I LOVE yoga. I am speaking to myself in ways I won’t if I’m not doing physical activity. And I get to be good at something!
Pretty dope.
Reminds me of when I’m walking Dottie and I take her to the park and she excels at running and catching the ball. On the way back home she is GLOWING. I take her to the park so that she can play and show off how good she is at dogging.
Same goes for me. Just forgot that!!!
I have to show up for things where I will feel good about myself after doing them. Cheering myself on during a yoga class is such a positive experience.
I have been choosing not to do this for myself. I chose to believe that work was more important. My schedule was such that I was overworking, over traveling, over being overextended. I chose my schedule.
So...
Time to make yoga a priority again.
Just a choice.

Today, When was the last time you took your dog for a walk?!? Probably 3xs a day, am I right? When was the last time you took yourself for a “walk?” Think on this.
To be accountable, I’ll tell my fellow Queens and Kings my goal :).
Sun salutation every morning when I wake up. Now, that’s a good start!
