When you come to a hard & fast decision of this person is wrong, I am right. You are in black & white. Day & night. Light & dark...

You have CREATED a division of this is You & this is Me.

In this division there is ISOLATION.

Whether you want to believe me or not-The need for you to be right & them wrong WILL HURT YOU.

Why?!??!?

You might say to yourself...
"I am RIGHT.
I did EVERYTHING RIGHT.
It's just not FAIR!"

Okay...

Step back.
Breathe.

We need people.

We all YEARN to be UNDERSTOOD.

We want to be seen. Heard. & LOVED.

It is ISOLATING enough to travel this life in a meat suit with an intercom in our head jib jabbing. Telling us what to do, what is right, what is wrong, making judgements...

But...

Step back.
Breathe.

Everyone is feeling ISOLATED.

So...

When we drop the gavel of judgement & say I AM RIGHT.
THEY ARE WRONG.
There is no movement. There is no chance for change. There is no growth. There is NO FUTURE.

You will become STUCK in that spot. That date. That time. Maybe forever.

Unless you shift.

You wouldn't want to watch the same movie over & over again! So why let the emotional record skip over & over & over. UNRESOLVED.

It is STUNTING your growth.

Soo..

Do it for the importance of YOUR happiness.

Shift your thinking.

If you KNOW you are right. They ARE wrong. Then why the importance to be "RIGHT?"

You Already KNOW you are right.

At your funeral is it also a graduation ceremony?!?

Taped to the outside of Christina's coffin at her wake for everybody to see is her grades. With the Number of Times Christina Was Right written in BOLD.

My point:
LET THAT Need to be Right MOTHA F*CKING SH*T GO!!!!

Why carry it?

It's pain.

Take this non-emotional stand to help come to closure & a healthy resolution towards the FUTURE.

When you Feel the need to be RIGHT & them be WRONG you are creating a division.

FORCE yourself to:

A.)Shift your thinking to see the similarities.

I want this.
They want this.
I need this.
They need this.
What is the similar goal?!?

Then...

B.)Ask yourself what else could this be?!?!
Miss understanding
Miss communication
Miss interpretation

It's gone a Miss.

So let it GO :)

In the heat of the moment this is very difficult. But over time this will become easier. Bc you are finding the bridge between you & someone else. This is Far More POWERFUL then finding the differences.

Today, what rights have you wronged...YOURSELF?!?! Any bubbles in time created by your need to be right? Or someone else's? Try the technique outlined. After a while you will get the hang of it & become a Pro :)))))))
