I was watching the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. & I haven't seen it since I was a wee little one! I eagerly watched on as Charlie is searching for the meaning of Christmas. He can't find it anywhere. The episode is spent with him looking for it's meaning. Until, the last scene, when the story of Jesus' birth is told.
So simple.
A baby born in a barn.
With a crib made of straw.
Sheeps & Shepard looked on.
Life really is that simple.
You might not believe in Christianity. Or that Christ is a God. But, the message is very clear. Through all odds, a baby was born. A miracle. Sometimes it's the most simple gifts of life that keeps us wanting to live.
Today, ask yourself the last simple gift of life you were given? A niece, nephew, sister, brother, cousin, grandchild :)
What was their birthing story? In a hospital? Home birth? What country? Who was present? Did you hold the baby?!?
