8 GSTQ posts have been about hurricane Sandy since the storm hit us on October 29th.
Everytime I sit down to write in my journal I begin with an update on all things dealing with the storm.
I looked back in my notes on my iPhone and check Em out:
Oct 30th, 11:10am:
"6am-12am cars with fewer than 3 people are banned at most bridge crossings"
Oct 31st, 6:54pm:
"AT&T and other businesses are sending out touching emails :)
-As President of the Northeast Region for AT&T, I hope you and your loved ones are safe, and I wish you the best in the days ahead. Restoring our wireless network is our top priority."
Nov 1st, 2:36pm:
"NYC is made up of true fighters. In lower Manhattan we had NO Starbucks for 4 days!!!"
Nov 3rd 10:53am:
"Sometimes I wish I was a superhero & could stop tidal waves."
Nov 8th 11:34am:
"What gas attendant do I have to blow to get gas?!?"
My BRAIN is consumed...
Journal...
GSTQ...
my iPhone...
All of my thoughts have been distracted.
So...
I'm finally letting go of Sandy.
I couldn't have done anything differently. It's time to let go on the dwelling of the past. It's not helping us engaging every time a bill collector calls, or an out of towner, or your physical therapists and them saying how bad it was. It's restating the pasts. It's almost a month now and it's getting draining.
Everyone is doing the best they can to help those around them.
Lets keep this comradery going!!!
Turn to service :)
Today, are you ready to let go of Sandy? Everyone has their story. And sure, it has been told over & over again. Now is the time to let it go. Move on, HELP others and let in hope for the future :)))
