In Puerto Vallarta, the most wonderful people are everywhere. Although, it seems...
That EVERYONE is a salesman.
It's very interesting.
Every cab driver/bell hop/clerk... also sells time shares, particular restaurants, & wild adventures.
After my relaxing massage while cashing out, the cashier was pitching a HARD sell for Zip lining in the jungle.
Puerto Vallarta is by far the most opportunistic resort town I have ever been to!
As a person who has worked in sales, I tip my hat to them bc most were very slick about it.
Others it was an overt ambush.
Stories of cab drivers redirecting passengers to the restaurant that pays them was in an article in the local paper. It's not supported by PV. But it happens...
Today, salesy salesman are ALL OVER! When was your last run in? Did it make you feel icky? Or was it entertaining? Is there anything in your life that you find yourself being a salesy salesman?!?! Your favorite tv show, hairdresser, dish detergent?!?
We all are selling something.
The real question is:
Who is buying what you are selling?
