A friend said:
"Someone is gonna act out. It is Going to surprise you. You won't know where it is gonna come from. But something is going to go down."
& it DID.
This happened.
To me.
I was so naive.
I thought I was protected.
With adult people around.
Nope.
The past 5 months have uber sucked for me.
One person.
Who I thought would have been the MOSTEST excited for wedding planning became the WORST.
So much so...
That...
I created this game I played with my bridesmaids as a joke:
Step 1: They Pick any part of the Wedding Planning Process.
Step 2: I will tell a quip of how this animal was upset with my choice, the outcome, or the overall result of our choices.
There wasn't ONE part of my Wedding Planning Process that I didn't have a story to share of how this bully felt slighted. Wanted it differently. Or simply was a C.
Huh...
I didn't take heed to my friends...
warning/advice/premonitions...
In turn, my spin on it is...
People will TRY to ruin the Wedding day.
It is inevitable.
Sadly, selfish people can't handle a DAY for someone other than themselves.
Now, I plan on saying to young doe eyed newly engaged fiancés:
I was like you once, newly engaged. In love. Naive. Then a wise woman told me this sound advice...
"Someone is gonna act out. It is Going to surprise you. You won't know where it's gonna come from. But something is going to go down."
Today, how is your Processing of the Process?!? Ugh. Are you overwhelmed? Underwhelmed? Too tired to Process?
Take a moment to appreciate all you have been through thus far.
It's a lot!
But...
Remember.
I got your back from afar ;)
Xoxo
