Chandelier by Sia

Shocked by Robin Williams decision to end his own life. 

Been listening to Sia Chandelier non-stop before I heard the heart breaking news. 

Now it makes sense why...

I googled Sia & it came up that she intended to commit suicide...
a number of years ago. Sia checked into a hotel, wrote her dog walker a Suicide note: 

"Two months before her September suicide attempt, Sia phoned her drug dealer and 'ordered "two of everything", except meth and heroin'.

Planning to check into a cheap hotel, she left instructions for her dog walker and the hotel manager, writing: 'I’ve killed myself and I don’t want you to have to suffer seeing my dead body'.

But a timely call from a friend prompted her to re-evaluate, and she decided to enroll in a 12-step recovery program and take a break from her solo career."

Even in her most vulnerable moment of ending her life she was considering others before herself. "I don't want you to have to suffer seeing my dead body..."

Then a friend called. 

She found her way out of it. 

She too had battled depression, rehab, drugs. 

Odd that this is the artist I have been listening to as this sadness unfolds. 

The song Chandelier is about Sia discovering that she had a drinking problem.

When the clouds opened up earlier I felt like the clouds were weeping with us. 

Robin Williams is gone. 

I couldn't concentrate all day. 

It's so sad. 

We all choose to stay alive daily. 

At anytime we can O.D.

"Carelessly" drive.

"Accidentally" fall. 

I feel like Robin dropped out of my graduating class. 

I really wanted to see him graduate. 

There was more for him. 

Yet, it's not OUR decision. 

It's his.

We lost a good one.
