My boss has this saying that all of our concentration goes towards Putting this week's "Fire" Out.
But...
What if the couch has a tear that needs to be sewn?!?
What if the couch has a tear that needs to be sewn?!?
Or...
Your rug needs to be cleaned Bc your dogs wet paws left stains from the last rainfall.
Or...
AC unit isn't needed anymore Bc it's cooling down outside so you gotta take it out of the window.
My point:
There are a TON of things going on at any one time.
The thing that gets the most attention is the one with the Deadline.
There is no Deadline to the torn couch, dirty rug, AC, but there is a deadline to "sh*t hitting" your living room ceiling fan!
Today, do you find yourself Putting Out Fires all the time?!?
Where you are constantly chasing the next emergency to clean it up?! Is there a better way to plan for this...

Dunno! I'm a fire chaser.
Or...
Are you so intact that, "Fires" don't happen for you?!
Are you so intact that, "Fires" don't happen for you?!
I wonder what is worse...being the chaser or being in such control that everything is over controlled so as to Never lose control!
Hmm...
I am challenging myself to make promises to myself that NO matter what "Fire" gets started I will follow through with what I wished for myself.
Take a breathe.
Breathe in.
Ask yourself, "What is this week about for me?"
Breathe out.
List 3 things you would like to accomplish this coming week.
Simple stuff or complicated, its totally up to you.
Now, no matter what sh*t goes toward your fan you HAVE to get these 3 things done this week!
Bc...
You WANT to :)
Xoxo
