Story goes, Bernie Mac was backstage at a Def Comedy Jam in NYC in the 90's. The crowd turned on the Stand Up before him. They started booing and taking ova! Like us NYC crowds can do ;) 

There was Bernie back stage with the producer of the show who turned to him & said its rough out there so you be careful. 

Bernies response is legendary: 

I ain't scared of these mother fuckers. I have been doing this for too Motha fuckn long. 

He walked out and took OVA!!!
