Decided to get rid of all of my mirrors.
I LOVE mirrors.
A) I'm from Staten Island.
B) They make small spaces look bigger.
C) See A.
So...
I asked the Moving Co how much it would be to move all my mirrors. And they said $65 each.
Now...
My mirrors are worth $65 each to ship. For many reasons. Mostly, see the list above.
Yet, somen stopped me. Something said don't do it.
The day of the move I kept looking at em thinking, "What am I gonna do with you guys?!?"
They are heavy baroque mirrors. Bu-roke the bank when I bought them. ;)))
So...
What was my hesitation?!?!
Finally, it came to me.
None of these mirrors are coming with me! They aren't meant to take the journey to my next spot. The person I saw in those mirrors no longer exists. I will buy new mirrors to reflect the #newme.
Reminded me of a GSTQ post from September or October where I said that I just started looking in the mirror again after the upheaval of the summer. It was too painful to see my own reflection of raw utter sadness that I stopped looking in mirrors. Last summer, I lost 15lbs. I was gutted with betrayal and a disgust for humanity. Not sure I even wanted to live.
These mirrors of that persons reflection can't come with me.
That person has died.
In the ashes.
"Gurl...I'm ashy!"
Bc...
This Phoenix is rising & she needs new mirrors to reflect her blinding light in :)))
Today, Do you like what you see in the mirror?!?
Really.
Do you?
Be curious to ask yourself the next time you have a glance.
If you could what would you change? Adjust? Love?
What do you see in your reflection that isn't physical? Are you happy? Sad? Feeln sexy?!?
Mostly, mirrors hold energy.
I can sense it.
Most times you can see the splintered reflections.
Smart decision to leave all that stored sad left energy behind.
Leaves way for #newme looking back in the mirror :)))
And...
See A) above.
I now have a legitimate reason to go buy more mirrors.
Yay!
Xoxo
