This past year I have had an affinity to birds it seems. Like not the actual animal itself but referencing it.
“Black Birds” by the Beetles was my go-to song when I was packing up in NYC.
Lyrics:
“Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free
Blackbird fly, blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night
Blackbird fly, blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.”
Just spoke to me, and identified how I was feeling at that moment. Like, I used to be able to fly. Once. Now, my wings are broken. There I was, just waiting for that moment to rise.
Powerful!!!
Earlier, I was in yoga and the teacher sang, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Judy Garland.
Lyrics:
“Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
there's a land that i have heard of once in a lullaby
somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday i'll wish upon a star
and wake up where the clouds are far behind me
where troubles melt like lemon drops
way above the chimney tops that's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly
birds fly over the rainbow why then oh why can't i?
Someday i'll wish upon a star
and wake up where the clouds are far behind me
where troubles melt like lemon drops
way above the chimney tops that's where (where) you'll (you'll) find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow the bluebirds fly
birds fly over the rainbow why then oh why can't i?
(why oh why yeah yeah)
If bluebirds fly (if bluebirds fly) over the rainbow why, oh why can't i?”
I was on my yoga mat in Shavasana thinking my WINGS, and remembered I can fly. Why did God give Birds wings and not me?!? I want to fly! I want my dreams to come true.
When this bible verse came crashing in:
“Mathew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
God takes care of the birds and bees, Why not me?!?!
Today, Syndicated messages coming your way?!?! Any chance sighting or tying together of stuff?!?!
Always love when lessons get braided together to help me to gather.
It’s all happening as it should.
The real question is:
Will we let the magic unfold ;)
Xoxo
Ps: this picture was taken on my Serenity Balcony! This little bird would come and visit me when I first moved in :)))
