"Hi I'm Mat"

You know the guy that you walk all over?!! He is kinda a square, he' s always just sitting outside your front door waiting for you? 

You Know the One!! He's the little guy wearing comfy colorful clothes with a cute picture and a witty saying, You know the one....your Welcome Mat!?!

Well he does more than just welcome you :)

Every day you come home & wipe your feet on Mat. He smiles back at you and says WELCOME. What you didn't know was that Mat acts like a sponge for negativity. When you wipe your feet, you are wiping the days energies off onto him & walking into your sacred space, your home! Then the next morning the first thing you step on outside of your door is Mat. Mat is your ambassador to the outside world. He welcomes you home & wishes you well as you leave. Mat is important real estate, he acts as a draw bridge from the outside unpredictable world into the sacred space we create the ambience for. Leave the uncontrollable crazy at the door. As you enter your home say a little prayer to bless the day you had & welcome the night you will have in your home where you are in control of everything, the lighting, scents, sounds, visuals, & activities. & No worries bc Mat will prepare you for the outside world when you leave the next day :) 

Today, pay attention as you wipe your feet when you come home. Do you notice which foot is wiped first? The right or the left? Do you think anything as you are wiping them?  In the am, notice if you wipe your feet again? Do you stand on Mat as you lock the door? Try saying a Welcoming Prayer as you enter & an Exiting prayer to give you strength as you exit to enter the outside unpredictable world. 

If you don't have a Mat,  go get one!!!!
